Transforming Care for Underserved Communities Across America
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to transform care for the underserved by empowering healthcare providers through access to technology, training, and solutions. We help providers protect patient privacy, expand care, and prepare for cyber attacks, emergencies, and disasters.
HTAA SERVICES
HTAA trains healthcare workers in Health IT to meet workforce shortages in data analytics, cyber security, and HIPAA compliance. Our Health IT bootcamp prepares professionals to pass the CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems) exam. We also provide webinars, virtual trainings, articles and E-books, and leadership coaching to keep your clinic staff and leaders on top of best practices in IT Governance and HIPAA compliance.
HTAA provides independent verification of IT system & HIPAA compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring to make sure you are safe from hackers, malware, ransomware, and disasters. Using the QI EXPRESS solution, we help you build your security foundation and framework through simple, yet robust IT Governance, Security Risk Assessments, Audit Certifications, and Remediation Coaching. We help you develop your technology foundation for success.
Whether you need an part-time Privacy Officer, or you need coaching and consultation to make HIPAA compliance simple, easy, and cost-effective, HTAA gives you peace of mind. Healthcare regulations can be complicated, especially regarding Substance Use Disorder, Behavioral Health and Minor Consent. But we can help you streamline your business processes and procedures to be more time efficient, less costly, and still compliant and secure.

ABOUT
Founded in 2015, HTAA is a nonprofit headquartered in Rockville, Maryland with offices in Massachusetts and California. We serve Community Health Centers (CHCs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Health Care Controlled Networks (HCCNs), Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Primary Care Associations (PCAs), Business Associates (BAs) and small to medium rural and urban healthcare providers serving uninsured, underinsured, and Medicaid patients.
Our mission is to transform care for the underserved by empowering healthcare providers through access to technology, training, and solutions so they can protect patient privacy, expand care, and prepare for cyber attacks and emergencies.
Our goal is to change the paradigm that training, security, and compliance must be costly or difficult. We ensure small and medium-sized providers serving the underserved have access to knowledge and tools that larger, well-funded institutions enjoy.
